This Equinox Underwater Housing for Canon 5D Mark III is a waterproof enclosure designed to contain your Canon 5D Mark III digital SLR camera with an EF 16-35mm f/2.8L USM lens attached. It has a depth rating of 250′ (76.2 m), enabling you to dive down deep for underwater exploration.
The housing enables access to the important camera functions via mechanical controls, including On / Off, Shutter, Menu, Menu Select & Scroll, Set, Start / Stop, Mode, Manual Focus, Auto Focus, Manual Zoom, ISO, White Balance, Q and dials. A flash is not usable with the housing, as the space inside is too tight to fit one. The housing is equipped with a BRS / Ballast Release System, which serves a dual purpose: Easy travel and fast transport to the surface, should you run into trouble during your underwater video adventure. Simply pull on the quick-release pin on one of the wings and the wing and ballast/handle are released; the housing now becomes positive in buoyancy and shoots to the surface.
