The AMIRA has a new and improved 4K UHD upgrade! It features a 4K UHD recording format developed for productions that require high-resolution deliverables. It allows ProRes codecs up to ProRes 4444 to be recorded in Ultra High Definition 3840 x 2160 resolution. Moreover, the AMIRA can record directly onto the in-camera CFast 2.0 cards, at up to 60 fps. The optional in-camera de-noising, sharpening and detailing tools permit the image optimization for specific applications or matched to different cameras and lenses.

The AMIRA also features a new audio board. It has higher input levels with line audio input on AMIRA. This new audio board allows +24dBu input level in addition to the +8dBu with the current board. It also allows the headphone out to be looped through a connected mixer.
