The Canon COMPACT-SERVO 18-80mm T4.4 EF is an extremely lightweight and compact lens, measuring 7.2″ long and weighing only 2.65 lbs. It is designed for use with EF-mount cameras that have Super 35 or APS-C sized sensors. Additionally, this lens’s focal range extends from 18-80mm, all-the-while maintaining a T-Stop of 4.4. The COMPACT-SERVO 18-80mm is Canon’s first cine lens to employ image stabilization as well as auto-focus with Cinema EOS cameras.

Moreover, this lens is equipped with a servo drive unit that, conveniently, is compatible with standard lens controllers.

The Ready Rig evenly disperses the weight from a gimbal-mounted camera to the user’s hips and core in order to relieve operator fatigue and keep the user shooting comfortably, for longer. However, the Ready Rig GS +ProArm Kit improves upon the original Ready Rig GS system by increasing the payload capability and delivering added stability across a wider range.

The arms are constructed of carbon fiber, making the system both durable and lightweight. The Ready Rig GS +ProArm has a carrying capacity of 40 pounds, as opposed to the 30 pound limit when using the Ready Rig GS alone. This allows the user greater freedom when selecting their camera package. Additionally, the arms telescope from 23” to 37”, creating a 55” effective boom range. Finally, the arms have threads which allow you to mount an on-board monitor easily to either (or both!) arm.

The DJI Ronin 2 3-Axis Handheld / Aerial Stabilizer is the ultimate tool for image stabilization. DJI outdid themselves when they released the second version of this popular gimbal, as it features massive upgrades.

Physically, the Ronin 2 weighs about 40lbs, a bit heavier than the first Ronin. However, it also boasts an upgraded design, including a detachable grip. This allows the user to separate part of the hand grip when it is not needed. It also allows the Ronin to stand without support. In addition, the Ronin 2 features increased compatibility with Steadicams, drones, cranes and beyond.

ZEISS 100mm/T1.5 Supreme Prime PL/LPL Lens for Rent in Nyc

Zeiss Supreme Primes Lenses

 

ZEISS’s new line of full-frame primes consists of 13 lenses of different focal lengths. Although, at this time, only five of them have been released – 25mm, 29mm, 35mm, 50mm, 85mm. The 100mm lens is expected to come out by the end of the year. However, ZEISS is keeping us in suspense, as the remaining lenses will not be made available until 2019 and 2020.

According to ZEISS, the cornerstone of these lenses is the consistency across the entire line. The company specifically cites “coverage, color rendering, aperture, size, weight, and ergonomics.” In addition, all of these lenses feature a 46.2mm image circle and 10 out of the 13 are T1.5. This makes the Supreme Primes an ideal cine candidate for shooting in any low-light situations.

Additionally, the line features a small diameter of 95mm on almost all lenses and a uniform positioning of both the focus and iris rings allows for easy equipment swap-outs. These lenses also feature an interchangeable mount system, making it easy to change from PL-mount to LPL or EF. This mount system gives the user more flexibility and freedom when choosing what camera to pair with Supreme Primes.
